“CloudLex allows everybody to work remotely and everybody can see what everybody else is doing “

We have a system in my office called CloudLex, it’s a software system. It allows everybody to work remotely through a server and everybody can see what everybody else is doing. We can tell (believe it or not which is important) how long somebody is been actually working on a particular task, so you can find out and see how much people are working based on how long they’ve logged into the system.

So, let’s say we had an accident case which we have been working on – Defendant would say, hey, we want discovery, we want the medical records of your client, we want photos of the injury, we want accident report, police reports, we want you to keep working on this Mr. Lesch, so we don’t have problem with that either. So, we’ll have somebody login to the system, get all these documents, then forward it on to the defendant’s office remotely through email, and this way back-and-forth we can decide what is or what is not being done on a particular case.

What is Task Management Software?

Task Management software is a tool that helps you break down large projects into several actionable activities. These activities can be assigned to a team member with set deadlines, tracked, and reported, to measure the performance of the individual and the project.

What is legal task management software?

Legal task management software is a tool that helps law firms break down cases into actionable tasks.

With task management software, lawyers can create, assign, and track the task through various phases of the case. It makes matter management more predictable, repeatable, and efficient.

How can attorneys track the progress of tasks?

The easiest way to stay on top of your deadlines and tasks, and those of your team, is to track the progress of tasks based on their priority. The way to do this is, ask your team members to update the status frequently so you know what % of tasks are completed before they’re due and when you can expect them to be accomplished. This way, you can see if they are stuck with something and can address it immediately.

With CloudLex(R), you can remind all the users at once or the ones assigned to a task, or you can select specific users.

You can also choose to remind users on specific days like 1, 7, 15, 30, 60, and 90 days prior to the due date. So the user receives the notification well in advance and then immediately before the task due date.

Assigned users can mark the progress of the task in “Percentage complete,” so everyone in the firm knows when to expect deliverables, before or after the due date.

So how do you remain efficient and stop wasting time on administrative tasks?

With CloudLex’s legal workflow automation software, you can assign all hearing-related tasks at once.

And it’s not just hearings; you can create custom workflows for any stage of your case that requires repetitive tasks.

Once assigned, your colleagues and staff will get reminders whenever they log in to CloudLex(R) and follow-up emails as an added protection against missed deadlines. You can even track task status on your dashboard.
